When many people think of a picnic today, they imagine elaborate table settings, grazing tables and catered displays.


The Vintage Picnic in the Park celebrates something a little different.

Inspired by the traditional picnics of the past, each guest or group is invited to bring their own picnic basket or hamper, blanket or chairs, and create their own beautiful picnic space. It’s part of the experience and part of the fun.

Whether your setup is simple and charming or beautifully styled with vintage china, wicker baskets and fresh flowers, every picnic tells its own story.
We’ll be celebrating the creativity of our guests with a Best Picnic Setup award, so don’t be afraid to add your own personal touch.

Pack your favourite food and refreshments, gather your family or friends, dress in your finest vintage style attire and spend the afternoon enjoying lawn games, timeless music and wonderful company.

Together, we’ll bring back the charm of the traditional picnic—where good conversation, beautiful surroundings and shared memories mattered most.
